Art-a-Month January

For my January art-a-month, it's us! I know I'm not the first person to take awhile (ahem…almost 2 years!) to print wedding photos so I'm not beating myself up about it but I am trying to remedy the situation. For Christmas this year I ordered several prints from our wedding day, framed them, and gave them to our family. I had this one printed for us. We were married in Austin at Mercury Hall, beneath the beautiful live oak trees. The sprawling branches of the live oak trees in this photo feel so very Texas to me, I love that this photo captured that.

Our two year anniversary is coming up in April…I'd love to put together a photo book by then and maybe get a couple more wedding prints framed for the house. But this is at least a start!

this is good inspiration. we’ve been married over 2 years and i’ve printed our photos but i haven’t actually done anything with them. i want to tackle that this year.

After one year we only have one big photo printed and on the wall, getting a photo book sorted has been on my to-do list for months. I keep changing my mind about the format as well so at the moment I have two partially completed versions!

We’ve been married 3 1/2 years and I still haven’t done anthing with our photos (other than wasting a few hours every three months looking at them on the computer)! On my list of things to do, thanks for the inspiration Kelsey!!

Ooo, I might have to issue a challenge to get wedding photos dealt with by a certain date…it sounds like we could all use some motivation and team spirit!
